Discusses manners for young people mentioning etiquette at formal and informal teenage gatherings, and eating manners at home and school.
Ken Smith sez: This is a "manners" film, starring the students of Webster Groves (Missouri) High School. The slow speed of this film's color stock required intense lighting, which makes the kids look like walking corpses. The condescending narrator talks to the teens, explaining that the purpose of this film is to spare its viewers "the embarrassment of doing the wrong thing." Slow moving, typical in content.

Subject: Must... Conform... To.. SOCIETY!
It seems that the Children of the Stepford wives are going to high school now, all behaving in the same way, dressing the same way.. and conforming to society the same way.. Ultra scary directions are given to the naive teen about how to eat, how to date, and yes, how to order food in the school cafeteria (Where IS Mr. Bungles when you need him?)
Pay close attention to what to do when you break something, "Apologize, offer to pay for it, then immediately drop the subject". Like the issue of broken restaraunt glasses isn't of importance to the 1950's teen set. Whooo-wee!
